Lifecycle of Building Information Modeling (BIM)
Lifecycle of Building information modeling (BIM) is a process that includes creation and management of computational representation of buildings. While traditional way of handling building projects included 2D drafting and drawings, BIM is a modern day technology, where comprehensive information of a project is projected via a 3D model.
Building information models carry all the information pertaining to a building that is exchanged across various operational levels and departments involved in a building and construction project.
It allows higher collaboration between the varied construction processes that result in buildings that are safer, provide better occupant comfort, are environmentally sustainable, energy efficient and have a good waste management system. This means that Building information modeling lends support throughout a buildings lifecycle.
BIM services are outsourced by construction companies and architecture firms across the globe, to design and construct buildings like houses, hospitals, schools, shops, factories etc with diverse physical infrastructures and utility structures like roads bridges airports etc.
We have a dedicated department handling BIM projects for all types of new construction projects as well as retrofits. We have worked for several international retailers, homebuilders, architects, engineers and general contractors.
